Turbine Services and Solutions (TS&S) entered into an agreement with the Qatar Fertilizer Company (QAFCO) at ADIPEC for a multi-year support project for QAFCOs Avon gas turbine packages

The new agreement will ensure total repair, overhaul and technical site support for QAFCO?s Rolls Royce manufactured gas turbines.

"We have every confidence that the approach being taken now will produce significantly better results across the board," said Ahmed Al Moosa, CEO of TS&S.

"Maintenance is an ongoing activity and when both parties address maintenance as one team, as partners, a better outcome is always guaranteed."

"Since QAFCO is the world's largest producer of ammonia and urea, quality is very important to us. To ensure plant reliability and availability and to minimise the amount of down time at the plant, we count on TS&S to provide quality service on our engines," said Humod Al-Mannai, chief technical officer of QAFCO.

Amendments to the partnership for TS&S include providing QAFCO with the benefit of long-term integrated maintenance solutions, the company said.
