A keen focus on accelerating the global energy transformation and exploring opportunities at the cusp of the transition towards sustainability will be the central themes at this year’s 49th edition of Middle East Energy (MEE)

The annual event, which will run from 16-18 April at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), is set to be its largest edition to date with more than 250 speakers across three stages.

As the Middle East and Africa’s most comprehensive energy exhibition, industry experts and leaders will have access to three dynamic conferences at the event: the Middle East Energy Leadership Summit, Technical Seminar, and Intersolar & ees (Electrical Energy Storage) Middle East Conference. Each of these will help accelerate the groundwork and mobilise efforts towards efficiently meeting the energy needs of the future.

“We have curated these stages to provide an immersive experience for all attendees to understand the importance of swift action and the long-term impact of the global momentum towards energy transition across different industries,” said Azzan Mohammed, group exhibition director, energy portfolio at Informa Markets. “The shift towards a low-carbon economy is inevitable. By bringing together key government and private sector leaders and decision-makers under one roof, we are creating a platform that will boost the pace from discussion to implementation and help us amplify our efforts towards creating an integrated energy system.”

According to the Global Energy Monitor, the MENA region has witnessed a 400% year-on-year growth in renewable energy capacity since 2022. Now, with more than 1,500 local and international companies exhibiting their products and solutions in renewables, transmission, and energy consumption across 28,500 sq m of exhibition space, Middle East Energy 2024 is set to break its previous visitor and buyer records and cement its place as the most-anticipated energy show in the region.
