Danfoss has introduced Optyma? High Ambient 52 Pack for food safety and reducing energy consumption in supermarkets, convenience stores, restaurants and hotels in Saudi Arabia

Recognised as one of the biggest market for buying condensing units in the Middle East, the new product has been specifically designed for Saudi Arabia?s extreme climate.

The Optyma? 52 has been designed for commercial refrigeration applications such as cold rooms, display cabinets in convenience stores, mini-markets, restaurants and bakeries.

According to Danfoss, the Optyma? 52 is built with reciprocating compressors, which is one of the most reliable compressor technologies in the field for more than 40 years. In addition, the product is combined with IP54 housing, which enables those to be resistant to harsh weather conditions.

SASO-certified and equipped with R404A/R507 and R134a refrigerants and in three electrical codes, the units aim to provide cooling capacities from 1.2 kW to 12.1 kW in medium temperature and from 1.2kW to 6.8kW in low temperature.

Alexander Abrass, senior sales manager at Danfoss Middle East, Turkey and Africa, said, ?Food safety in the dairy and meat industry, restaurants or convenience stores relies on an unbroken and efficient farm-to-fork cold chain. When refrigeration systems are operating in high outside temperatures, the use of reliable products to maintain the cold chain is critical.?

?The Optyma? 52 condensing units run safely and reliably up to 52?C, avoiding breakdowns on even the hottest days and ensuring the optimal protection of food and perishables,? Abrass added.
