UAE investment firm Kingston Holdings has partnered with Irish electrical goods manufacturer Glen Dimplex to set up a hub in the Middle East, which would provide heating, ventilation and heat recovery solutions for the domestic, commercial and industrial sectors
The joint venture known as Xpelair Middle East, will distribute Glen Dimplex products in the Middle East, North African and the Asian sub-continent. The company will be based in Sharjah.
Kingston Holdings currently owns three manufacturing facilities in the UAE, which produce covers, cable management systems, metal boxes, data cabinets, PVC conduits and accessories, and commercial light fittings. The group also has a logistics division.
It has joint venture agreements with Australia?s Pierlite, Hong Kong-based GP Batteries and UK?s Rexton Technologies.
Ireland?s Glen Dimplex operates a portfolio of 25 brands including Xpelair, focussing on heat recovery, renewable energy, heating and ventilation and household appliances sectors.

Samuel has been appointed managing director for Xpelair Middle East.
