US-based cab service Uber has launched two new services ? the uberX and Uber for Business ? in Dubai

UberX is an affordable option, which connects passengers with licensed drivers by partnering with the existing supply of transportation providers in Dubai. Meanwhile, Uber for Business is a corporate account that allows companies to hire cars for their employees in their city or while they are travelling for work to destinations where Uber is a valid service, stated company officials.

After gaining success in Dubai, the company has launched services in Abu Dhabi, Jeddah, Riyadh, Doha and Beirut, added Uber officials. Dubai is the 44th city to join Uber?s global network.

JP Mondalek, general manager for Uber UAE, said, ?The UAE is a model nation for Uber in the region ? with a smart-city government that not only welcomes but actively fosters innovation technology, as well as being home to a population of tech-savvy, cosmopolitan consumers seeking convenience and mobility. We are now looking at new Uber destinations across the region.?
