Al-Futtaim Selects ServiceMax from GE Digital to digitise operational efficiency

Dubai-based Al-Futtaim has announced to digitise its end-to-end service and operational processes using GE Digital?s ServiceMax field service management platform

The solution aims to replace Al-Futtaim?s current manual processes within the facilities management (FM) division.

ServiceMax will provide Al-Futtaim with the ability to track, control and monitor performance, automate data collection and empower its technicians, aiming to delivering a seamless customer experience, with real-time access and visibility across the business, according to the company.

Dr Hayan Sayed, CEO of Al-Futtaim, said, ?By digitising our service processes, we will improve the operational maintenance of our assets and facilities.?

Ali Saleh, senior vice-president and chief commercial officer at GE Digital Middle East, Africa and Turkey, noted that digital transformation is important for continued growth for businesses in the region and around the world.

He further added that Al-Futtaim looks forward to implement these solutions, with trying to bringing efficiency for the group.

The ServiceMax platform is expected to be deployed on mobile devices in the coming months to more than 800 users at Al-Futtaim and is expected to go live in Q1 2018.

Structured into four divisions such as automotive, retail, real-estate and financial services, Al-Futtaim employs more than 42,000 people and operates in 29 countries through more than 200 partner companies.
