In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Big 5, Dubai-based annual trade event for the global construction community, has been rescheduled to 12-15 September 2021

The new dates take into consideration myriad factors such as the health, safety and convenience of all participants, the ease of travel, as well as the global events calendar for the industry, stated dmg events, the organiser of the event.

With Dubai moving the 2020 World Expo to October 2021, this next edition of The Big 5 will come at a time during which Dubai is expected to enter an exciting new growth phase as it prepares to present an amazing showcase and 21st century city to the world.

The new dateline will be a significant distance away from the current restrictions and it will allow exhibitors and visitors to enjoy the total Big 5 scale, nature and event experience. It will come at a time when travel will be much easier and economies will re-enter growth phases, creating positive opportunity for exhibitors to re-engage with old and new customers in a highly productive environment. Businesses can now plan ahead with great certainty to the benefit of the whole supply chain.

The organiser has assured that the Big 5, originally slated for November 2020, will continue pursuing its mission to connect and empower construction players across the globe and will do so in innovative ways.

Welcoming more than 67,000 buyers, suppliers and experts from across the construction cycle, the Big 5 offers a comprehensive programme of education workshops, networking features and business and sales opportunities at one location.
