Major General Khamis Matar Al Muzainah Al Muhairy, Deputy Commander General of Dubai Police officially inaugurated Gulf Traffic Exhibition and Conference.
Supported by the Dubai Police, and taking place until 14 December at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, the three-day exhibition opens as major road and bridge projects valued at US$142 billion are underway or at the planning stages in the Gulf region.
Gulf Traffic organisers Informa Exhibitions have confirmed an exhibitor line-up of more than 200 of the world?s leading traffic and transport infrastructure suppliers looking to capitalise on the huge opportunities in the GCC region, as they display their latest innovations, solutions, products and services.

Running alongside Gulf Traffic is the two-day Gulf Traffic Conference, addressing the challenges in road safety and Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) in the GCC region.
The conference features 17 international and regional road safety and ITS experts, including Colonel Jamal Al Bannai, Assistant Director of General Traffic Department, Dubai Police, who delivered the keynote address on the opening morning and Commander Adrian Hanstock from the Metropolitan Police in London, UK.
Other speakers at the Gulf Traffic Conference include: John Smart, Director of Professional and Business Development, Chartered Institute of Highways and Transportation, UK and Paul Copping, Corporate Development Director and Middle East Director at the Transport Research Laboratory, UK.
