At this year?s WETEX exhibition in Dubai held recently, Danfoss presented their latest innovation in high-pressure pumps and energy recovery devices (ERDs)
The company exhibited its range of APP high-pressure pumps and iSave ERDs used from small to large-sized seawater plants. The latest APP pump delivers up to 86 cu/m per hour. This is claimed to be the highest flow rate of any axial piston pump in the market. Installed in parallel trains, the pump enables energy savings in SWRO plants up to 30,000 cu/m per day or more.
They also released the iSave 70, which handles flow rates of up to 70 cu/m per hour. Like for the pump, the iSave can be installed in parallel trains and can cause dramatically reduced energy costs on the bottom line.
Danfoss global sales director Jesper Bentzen said, ?Customers are more focused on energy efficiency than ever before. We have already had great interest from customers designing skids that produce up to 30,000 cu/m per day. At volumes like this, operators quickly see the results of dramatically reduced energy costs on their bottom line.?
