The investment of 50 rough-terrain craines will diversify the companys expansion in oil and gas offerings

The order consists entirely of GRT8100 rough-terrain cranes, which were acquired from local dealer Kanoo, for their powerful lift capacity and flexibility in navigating challenging job sites.

The large investment drives expansion at Tamimi Rentals' construction division, designed spcifically to help it achieve more work in the oil and gas fields. The company's rental fleet already includes over 40 Grove all-terrain cranes and a number of older rough-terrain cranes.

CEO of Tamimi Rentals, Mohammed Fahad S Al-Tamimi, spoke of the GRT8100's advantages. He said, ?We chose Grove GRT8100 rough-terrain cranes because they have a very good load chart which is about 25 percent stronger than competitive machines. We also liked the precise and customizable movements that the Crane Control System offers. Having close control is very important when lifting complex and expensive equipment around oil rigs.?

The Tamimi acquisiton of GRT8100 cranes has already begun, with the order completed within several months. They will be on offer to jobsites including oil rigs or other sites that will take advantage of the crane's 100 tonne capacity combined with the five-section power boom that extends up to 47 metres, which can be increased to 64m with a jib.

Manoj Tripathy, CEO of Kanoo, explained, ?Tamimi Rentals has been our customer for a long time and we appreciate their continued confidence in Kanoo and Manitowoc with this latest investment,? he said. ?We hope to strengthen our partnership and continue to provide exceptional service in the years to come.?
