Atlas Copco has been awarded a contract with the petrochemical company SABIC to build bolt tightening solutions in Saudi Arabia

The ?call-out? contract covers SABIC?s requirements for bolt tightening either as part of routine maintenance or a scheduled shutdown. The contract itself was won through local agent Sendan International.

The team in the Middle East team comprises business managers and engineers within the region to ensure global standards of implementation with localised delivery.

Atlas Copco?s Middle East team head PCA Mohan said, ?The combination of our highly-skilled and knowledgeable engineers, the renowned Tentec range of bolt tightening equipment and the alliance and support of a well established service provider, Sendan International Co. Ltd gave us that important advantage. We have specifically set up business processes that enable us to react quickly, when necessary and we can call on large numbers of engineers and equipment resources to manage all sizes of projects.?

The team for Saudi Arabia has its headquarters in the industrial city of Al-Jubail.
