Volvo Construction Equipment has launched two compact excavators – the 3.5-ton EC37 and 4-ton ECR40

These models are equipped with a spacious, ergonomic and silent cab, along with an intuitive navigation system and proportional fingertip controls.

Smooth hydraulics together with an intuitive jog wheel, 5” color display provide great controllability while allowing operators to efficiently adapt the machines to any job requirements.

The new compact models ensure maximum uptime with their wide opening engine and rear hoods, easily accessible service points, 50-hour greasing intervals, and large 70-litre fuel tanks.

By eliminating the need to track unlogged hours, auto engine shutdown prolongs the machine's useful life and lowers maintenance expenses. Additionally, the hydraulic system is exceptionally well-protected by the patented multifunction hydraulic oil filter.

The optional Volvo hydraulic thumb can be fully retracted against the arm for full unobstructed use of the bucket or breaker.

Overall, the new models can maintain optimum stability in almost any environment, thanks to a much better weight balance provided by the longer contact between the tracks and the ground.

Their customisable hydraulics flow setting and work modes, together with a superior breakout force, tear out force and lifting capacity deliver all the power to get the job done.
