The GCC fa?ades market is set to grow by 50.7 per cent from 2017-2025 across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman, according to a study conducted by Grand View Research

The report has been published at the forefront of the Windows Doors & Facades (WDF) event, that will take place in Dubai from 23-25 September 2018.

In 2025, the total value of fa?ades projects in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain will exceed US$10.7bn, with an additional US$10.2bn accounted for windows and doors only, said the report.

?Saudi Arabia tops the list of best-performing markets, with a 6.8 per cent CAGR, and facades projects expected to reach a value of US$5.9bn by 2025. In the UAE, the fa?ades  projects, valued US$2.3bn in 2017, will reach more than US$3bn over the same period, with a 3.8 per cent CAGR growth, and 33.5 per cent growth in absolute terms,? the report further added.

Rebecca Lockwood, event director of WDF, said, ?A new sustainability agenda, public policies and rising energy costs are driving a positive change in the industry. Suppliers are now focusing on innovative technologies and materials to meet the changing market demand.?

?Today the industry is looking for more dynamic facades, as well as for electronic, computerised system integration. In the UAE and the broader GCC region, energy consumption is a key concern. As a result, attention to sustainability and energy saving is growing,? added Umur Ahmet Duymaz, general manager of Orgadata Middle East.

More than 150 local and international companies are expected to exhibit at the WDF Event 2018, which will display the latest technologies and innovative products for the evolving windows, doors and facades industry.

Supported by Sch?co, Orgadata, Elumatec and Cladtech International as founding partners, the show will gather a wide range of decision-makers and industry experts to explore the latest industry trends and provide guidance into the future of the fa?ades sector.
