Evoteq, digital solution provider, and Johnson Controls have collaborated to introduce an end-to-end integrated artificial intelligence platform to create smart buildings and districts

The partnership was announced on the sidelines of the AI Everything Conference in Dubai.

The first project that will be pioneered with this platform-as-a-service (PaaS)-based AI-enabled platform is Bee?ah?s AI-integrated ?office of the future? in Sharjah. The system is scheduled to be deployed in its pilot phase during the last quarter of 2019.

Evoteq focuses on expanding its smart service and solution suite to cater to a broad range of sectors and businesses, by collaborating to jointly commercialise unique offerings in the MENA region.

Jihad Tayara, CEO of Evoteq, said, ?The series of services will take smart living to new heights and digitally transform offices, and how people work, to maximise productivity, convenience, business excellence and sustainable practices.?

?This marks the start of a long and fruitful journey by bringing AI-based services to cater to the needs of the public and private sector and we look forward to replicating the success that we achieve with Bee?ah?s ?office of the future,? by assisting other organisations in achieving their strategic digital integration and sustainability goals,? Tayara added.

?This project will set new building technology standards which future intelligent buildings in the region will be measured against,? commented Claude Allain, vice-president for the Middle East and Africa at Johnson Controls.

?Through this project, we are showcasing how AI can tap into data from physical spaces to drive better engagement with building occupants and achieve new levels of efficiency and sustainability,? Allain remarked.

Marcus Schumacher, vice-president for the GCC at Johnson Controls, said, ?This landmark project will accelerate our learning to transfer the developed technological know-how to future intelligent building projects in smart city environments.?
